The Naked Possum Features in Golden Bay Book

People of Golden Bay Golden Bay has become synonymous both for its lazy arch of beautiful beaches that sweep up to Farewell Spit, and laid back lifestyles of the people who live there. It wasn't always like that. The influx of alternative lifestylers during the 1970s and early 1980s brought alarm to many long-established families who saw the newcomers as threatening their very fabric of society. It's a measure of how much Golden Bay has matured as a society that all the diverse factions that once existed blended over the years, to make up the unique society it is today. The book celebrates that diversity.

People of Golden Bay is 120 pages and has over 600 colour photographs. This comprehensive book has nine chapters, including local history, animals, sports, community events, local artists and musicians.
